Sebei Tourism Initiative

⦁ Local Entrepreneurs and Small Businesses:
The initiative aims to engage luxury, midrange and small-scale budget/tourism operators, artisans, and hospitality businesses by providing them with opportunities to enhance their products and services through training, financial support, and marketing strategies.
⦁ Local Communities:
The initiative aims to focus on rural and indigenous populations whose cultural and natural heritage is central to tourism in the region. These communities will be empowered to develop and manage tourism-related businesses and initiatives.
⦁ Youth and Women:
The initiative aims to prioritize capacity building and skills training for young people and women to encourage their active participation in the tourism sector, providing new employment opportunities and fostering economic independence.
⦁ Indigenous and Cultural Practitioners:
The initiative shall work closely with indigenous groups and cultural leaders to preserve traditional knowledge, arts, crafts, and cultural practices that can be promoted through community-based tourism initiatives.
⦁ Environmental and Conservation Groups:
The initiative shall collaborate with environmental organizations, local conservationists, and eco-tourism advocates to ensure that tourism development is aligned with environmental sustainability and conservation efforts.
⦁ Government and Local Authorities:
Involve government agencies, municipal leaders, and tourism boards to ensure regulatory support, policy alignment, and the inclusion of tourism development in local and regional economic planning.

⦁ Tourists (Domestic and International): The initiative aims to attract eco-conscious and culturally curious tourists who are interested in experiencing the Sebei subregion’s unique heritage and natural beauty while contributing to sustainable development.
